Smart Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a range of Primary and SEN schools across Walsall. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are confident supporting pupils in both mainstream and specialist settings.
Opportunities include 1:1 support, small group interventions and general classroom support, working with pupils who may have additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.

Job requirements:
• Experience working with children or young people within a UK school or similar setting
• SEN experience preferred
• Patient, proactive and adaptable approach
• Ability to support behaviour and engagement
• Enhanced Child or Child/Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability for us to obtain 24 months of recent references
Role responsibilities:
• Support pupils in lessons, on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assist with learning activities and classroom organisation
• Support pupils with additional needs to access learning
• Help manage behaviour and promote engagement
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom environment
